Last night as I was falling asleep my back was hurting. No news there- it always hurts. But I woke up several times in the night with a painful back. Eventually, I fell back asleep again . . . and dreamt that my spine had thrust its way clean out of me (between my shoulderblades, just under my neck) and was waving around gently. Has anyone else ever created an Amazon wishlist for the sole purpose of vainly (yet desperately) hoping that someone else will buy the textbooks you can't afford? (Or at least can only buy one per paycheck) Sigh . . . .

No, I am NOT done for the semester. Unlike everyone else. I have five more pages to write (at the least). And non-science students out there- five to ten pages of chemistry is NOT like five to ten pages of feminist theory (which I have also written).
