Given: Marlboro is cheap and does not buy differentiated parking stickers for commuters and non-commuters.

Therefore, illegal cars in the commuter lot and legal cars in the commuter lot look identical.
Therefore, the fire chief guesses by ticketing all cars he finds there after a certain hour.

Given: This hour has not been publicized.
Inference:
Therefore, I don't know what it is.

Given: I actually have a life outside of my dorm.
Inference:
Therefore, I have friends/obligations/Things to Do on campus.
Therefore, I sometimes stay late on campus.

Given: I have no money.
Inference:
Therefore, I DON'T WANT TO PAY THE GODS-DAMNED PARKING TICKET THAT I JUST GOT!!!
