I found this article on feminist and it was so fascinating I had to share. It combines linguistic concepts (marked vs. unmarked words) to gender roles. The analogy is a bit of a stretch, but this thing was so well written and just plain interesting that I wanted to have y'all read it. It's a bit long, but WELL worth it.

This time I'm sitting outside a cafe in the middle of Columbia. There's a "wi-fi district", believe it or not. Since we STILL STILL STILL don't have internet access, this is a beautiful thing. Also, I don't have to buy a cup of coffee like I do at Panera's. Sweet.

My tire blew out on the way home from work today (well, on the way home from the Y, after work).
