Getting the kittens into the cat carrier was interesting and Dearest received three scratches from Kali in the process but they were very well behaved at the vets - more because of fright than anything. Our wonderful mourning doves are picking their way through the front garden. Industrious little creatures. I never see them apart - they are always within 10 feet of each other.
