It is a warmish 53 this morning - if you can call that warm, I certainly don’t. Beautiful blue sky with a few clouds hanging about. I think today is the day I have to do the final leaf raking in the back garden and I really must turn off the outside water too.

Happy Easter!

I managed to get four rows done on the new quilt project but I am rethinking one row. pictures later after make up my mind.

Outside, the crocus are up and the chives are already 6” tall! I won’t say spring is here but it is on the way. The sun is out too! Here are a few things that have been uncovered as the snow melted.

OK, here is a bit of fun. More than 200 dancers were performing their version of "Do Re Mi", in the Central Station of Antwerp. with just 2 rehearsals they created this amazing stunt! It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of "The Sound of Music".

Our wonderful mourning doves are picking their way through the front garden. Industrious little creatures. I never see them apart - they are always within 10 feet of each other. While all the other birds couples actively work their way around singly these two are always together and their cooing is wonderful ( Read more... )

The snow started yesterday evening and accumulated fast. As I sat working I noticed that something eye move outside out of the corner of my.
