It is, of course, cold again this morning. Windy too. A high of 44 degrees is forecast for today.

I have a list of things I want to get accomplished this morning and since I got up late I’d best feed myself something and then get a move on.

Hot again yesterday and it was in the 70s when we went to bed last night. :) This afternoon it rained a bit, just enough to raise the humidity higher.

The Roses, iris and peonies have bloomed. While I was out getting arugula for the salad I also gathered in some of the peonies and iris for the bedroom.

Oh, get this! The Romney campaign has been under a bit of stress since the Boston Globe reported about major inconsistencies having to do with his Bain Capital days. The campaign has asked for a correction even though they didn’t dispute the reported facts! Huh? So why were they asking for a correction?

Sun’s up and it is supposed to get to 70 today. :)

I have about ¼ of the crochet cast off completed on the Onopordum acanthium - Wha daurs meddle wi shawl. I was getting tired last night after spending time on the shawl so I put it away and quickly knit the toe of the first sock of the Blueberry Toes pair.
