Another late start to my day

Feb 18, 2010 10:26

It snowed a bit yesterday afternoon. Thank goodness it held off until after we got the snow removed in the back and the cord of wood that was delivered stacked and covered.

I was able to re-loan to a new person in the Philippines on Kiva.org last night.

While watching the Olympics I got through the gusset of the first sock of the second pair. This is such a pretty colorway.

As you can see I had a photographic assistant this morning. :)

If you are a knitter there is a great little newsletter put together by Clara Parkes called Knitter’s Review. I really do like her yarn reviews. Here, go join the mailing list - http://www.knittersreview.com/sub_form.asp

Before I went to bed last night -I was watching a bit of late night Olympics - Kali jumped up on the couch beside me and with her little paw took a swipe at my hand, rolled over and showed off her tum and purred…she wanted to be scratched. While this is a step forward she still needs to learn some social graces, like no swiping at the hands but she is getting there. She knows she likes being scratched but just isn’t that comfortable with it yet. Sita on the other hand has no problem whatsoever with scratchies. Loves them.

I took a pic during the snowstorm the other day and was playing with it in Photoshop last night and this is what I came up with.

After the last snowstorm I noticed that one of our Chipmunks is out and about. It is a bit early so I wonder what is going on in the chipmunk den. Did the wife kick the husband out for snoring too loudly? He is out again this morning making chipmunk trails in the snow banks. Maybe he is looking for his nut stash. Think I will put on my snow boots and go hang up some suet.
