So I hired a company called "Reliable Movers" off of Craigslist; one guy to come yesterday and help pack, and two guys to come today to help us load the truck. After having that horrible cough for something like six weeks I took a sick day on Thursday to stay home and rest, and I went to my doctor. She said I had cough-variant asthma, put me on a 12 day tapering dose of Prednisone, and gave me two separate inhalers with different schedules for each ( Read more... )

So I went to the doctor today and was diagnosed with allergy-induced cough-variant asthma, for which I was put on Prednisone and two inhalers. I've been coughing for well over a month. I have determined through careful examination of the evidence and hands-on experimentation that unpacking nine kajillion boxes is not a very fun activity. Plus, my back hurts :(

So here I am... in an empty house with no furniture or anything... we're renting it not buying it by the way. Anyway, the truck comes tomorrow with all of our crap, so then the real fun of unpacking begins. Oh. Joy. :P

But we're in! And I love it!

My friend Justin just left. He came to the lake to bring the remainder of the stuff that didn't go in the moving truck and also didn't fit in my car.
