Wow, it feels really weird, but this upcoming week is my last week at work. Last week at Brandeis. I work Mon-Thurs, so Thursday after work I'll be driving back up here to New Hampshire for the last time as a work commute. Our friend Katie lives in Boston. Well, in Brookline, but it's close enough. She was in Dan's class in podiatry school and is doing her residency at Beth Israel. We go into the city to hang out with her every few months--it's never often enough and we always say we need to do it again sooner, but then schedules get in the way. Alas ( Read more... )

So we drove into the city to meet up with Katie and two other podiatry friends from out of town for dinner before the Weird Al concert. We ate at Jacob Wirth's, which has been around since the 1800s.
