Went to see Stardust last night! Stine had won tickets on the radio and was generous enough to share... so she, Bryon and I met up with Sara when she got off work. Well, first of all, I just want to say that we went to see Transformers on the 3rd. That movie = LOVE. Bryon gave it an 8/10 because he did have a few issues with it, as a fan, but they were fairly minor and not enough to keep him from loving the movie. Well, after completing a bit more than a pattern repeat on the Lucky Clover Lace Wrap... I was thoroughly disgusted. Ok, so the Sugar 'n Cream yarn is a no-go. It's too rough and to get gauge I'd have to go down something like 2 needle sizes. So last night I bought a skein of Caron Simply Soft Brites. It's acrylic, but it's 4-ply and seemed a bit thinner than the other yarn.
