Well, after completing a bit more than a pattern repeat on the Lucky Clover Lace Wrap... I was thoroughly disgusted. The yarn (the second yarn I'd purchased, mind you) was way too splitty and not very flexible. Then I happened to check the comments and found a very helpful suggestion from
Deb. After checking into it a bit, I ended up ordering
Brown Sheep Cotton Fine in Lapis, from
Yarnware.com. As Deb pointed out, it's closer in weight to the Rowan 4-ply and I think I will have less issues with gauge and flexibility. Plus by ordering a 1 lb cone, I got a decent price, somewhere between the cheap stuff and the Rowan. :D Sooo... once that shows up it's off to the races again-maybe I can make some actual progress!
