I ate a piece of Christmas stollen and almost immediately felt light headed. I sat at the loom and wove, then painted the edges in the downstairs bathroom. I still feel zapped of all energy. I've been baking up a storm. I've got six small loaves of Christmas Stollen ready to go into the oven. I've got another couple of trays of Spritz to go in and a batch of Chocolate Chip cookies to bake as well. I'm glad we put off Family Christmas from today since Alida has a cold as does Desmond. Les has been here working on the living room today. He painted it with two coats of undercoat and white, to cover well. Today I cut and painted the walls and around the windows. It is looking lovely. He replaced the door on Willem's office and on our bedroom.

I have been painting the edging, or cutting, I guess, with the butter yellow paint. Then I was able to use the roller and do the whole job. I did a wall and a half in the small bedroom, three walls in the living room and almost two walls in the Treehouse Room of Accomplishment ( Read more... )
