Escaped, then set up the upstairs for habitation again

I went for a walk down to the pond this morning. I sat in the tipi and watched the wind blow across the pond and filmed it all. Then I walked home by climbing the hill back up to deer meadow.

I couldn't manage the mess at home today. Our room was impassible as Les was painting the ceiling and walls of it and the ceiling and top of the walls of the small bedroom as well. Everything in each room was in the center and on top of other furniture. I had my little treehouse or treefort loft, but it wasn't enough.

So I took refuge with Alida and baby Desmond. We had a nice day. At one point, I went over to Canadian tire and invested in some more bins for storing all the stuff there isn't room for in the house, outside or in the greenhouse. I also picked up three more containers of white for doing ceilings and trim. I should get some more primer, too, I guess. I also bought a carbon monoxide detector and a door knob for the woodshed door.

I went back and watched Grey's Anatomy with them afterwards. Willem had to go hometeaching, but I came home and found the upstairs painting was finished for the most part.

I sat in my little treefort loft and worked online until the smell of paint overpowered me. I opened all the windows, then went to work reclaiming our home.

I put the furniture in our room back into place, then put the small bedroom furniture back into place as well. I reconnected the video screen onto the fixture on the wall and put all the comforters in the closet in that room onto the bed.

Les has to work on the landing in our room and the closet in the small room. We'll have to empty the closets in our room eventually and let him paint in there, too.

I closed all the windows and lay on the bed watching weather videos, then got tired of it and went down for some of my brown rice dinner mixture.

Willem just got home. He's bringing in the paint that was in the car. I brought up one of the gliders that was in the living room and put it in our bedroom. I didn't bring up the board and the cushions, though.

Now that I've written in my journal, the basics, have answered the comments on my videos and have sorted out our home enough to sleep, I can relax and perhaps watch some Netflix with Willem.
