Willem and I went to the pond today where I ranted for awhile about what was on my mind. Then I was all better and we came back up to the house. I love sitting in Jopi Tipi! It's such a nice place

Les began the wall of the bathroom yesterday, drawing the lines for level on the walls. He tiled a bit this morning to get me started, but then he let me take over. He came back to cut the tiles as needed for the sloped ceiling

Wonderful walking across all the three ponds! The waterfall is frozen, and the spring is running. We followed wolf tracks across Fiddlehead pond and across Iceberg Pond and they around the beaver lodge a lot. We sat in the little tiny horseshoe island tipi

Les came, eventhough it was Saturday. He worked on the door in our bedroom, creating a frame since it wasn't closing properly. He did a good job on it. He also worked on the trim in the large bedroom and the hallway

I've been baking up a storm. I've got six small loaves of Christmas Stollen ready to go into the oven. I've got another couple of trays of Spritz to go in and a batch of Chocolate Chip cookies to bake as well. I'm glad we put off Family Christmas from today since Alida has a cold as does Desmond. We will do it all together in a few days, I hope

Les has been here working on the living room today. He painted it with two coats of undercoat and white, to cover well. Today I cut and painted the walls and around the windows. It is looking lovely. He replaced the door on Willem's office and on our bedroom.
I went over to Mera and got the willow roots from the compost pile for the township next door. I brought back about nine roots and drove down to the pond where I planted them in the holes Willem had dug for me yesterday while I was driving home from Maryjane's
