I couldn’t believe that I slept until 1030. I stayed perfectly still last night after those cramps. I didn’t dare move a muscle in case it triggers another attack. I took some of my medication, which knocked me out. When I woke up in at 6:30 I was too groggy to do anything. So I went back to bed and slept like the dead.

At Mira, Susan taught us how to do some knitting stitches.

One of them is lace, another is intarsia, raglan, and cable. I have been trying to do some lace at the top of the sock I was making. I did put a cable, but I don't think I should have because it made it get too small. It may work anyway. I can always take it out later if it ricks my sock.

Sometimes when I sit to write in my journal, I'm overwhelmed with the amazing happiness and love I've experienced in a day. It's usually being with my family. I went for a walk on the balcony and filled up the two huge bird feeders that are on the railings. I sat on the walker and scooped the seeds out with my birchbark oblong pencil basket. The feeders sure are heavy when they are full. The seeds have a lot of chaff in the bag. I'm amazed at how many weed seeds are in the bag as well ( Read more... )

We left from Brampton around 7am, and arrived at the chapel in Kingston around 9:45am! It was amazing that we were on time! I love being with all the sisters. I just learned how to knit the Kitchener stitch. You use three needles. Line up your stitches. YOu will always pull the yarn through each stitch. If the stitch is at the end of the needle, you slide it off. If it's the second stitch it stays on. Or, if you have two yarns coming through it, you slide it off ( always the first stitch).
