Yesterday was the year-anniversary of my official due date.  Yep, one year ago, I was sitting...waiting...waiting...waiting...  She just didn't want to show up on time.  Ah well.  We were doing daily walks around the neighborhood, and I think we went to our favorite Thai place several times that last week.  Nothing helped much.  She came on her own ( Read more... )

Here we are...in June.  Already.  My baby turns 1 this month.  At this time last year, I was impatiently awaiting her arrival, trying to ignore all the emails and Facebook messages from people saying, "Had that baby yet?!"  I was very big, trying to walk every night, eating spicy foods, and playing a lot of Warcraft.  A lot has changed.  :)

I can't believe Anya is 10 months old.

Let's see...updates in bullet form:

• Two more teeth, bringing our total to 6.  She's still vampire baby with her two incisors, but no middle teeth yet...the one on the right is really close to poking through, but not yet.

Anya since Halloween:

- at Thanksgiving, Anya's Grandma and Grandpa Hagarty came to visit.  It was a great time and we had a great feast.

Anya is doing great!  She turns 3 months tomorrow.  We've been working on rolling to the side, grabbing at toys (finally, an interest in toys!), and babbling.  She's done a few great giggles, but nothing consistent.  One day, she'll laugh at one thing, then won't ( Read more... )
