so, things have been fairly insane lately. we got the dogs, i'll put up more pictures some time soon. they are settling in well, they are very affectionate and will leap at your face to kiss you. they got haircuts though, and the groomer clipped a bit too short, so they aren't super-fuzzy cuteness anymore, now they are shorn but still cute ( Read more... )

today i spent all day at a native american basketweaving class for work, part of a native culture festival at the local casino. not only was the class paid for, but i also got paid to sit and listen to drums and chanting while weaving cedar strips into a pouch. i also had tasty tasty frybread, but i had to buy that myself. the little basket looks ( Read more... )
