Feeling accomplished...
I cannot thank my family enough today... The ones that rallied up and helped regardless of how crappy they felt, stress they had, things to do, or how little sleep they had... They just busted ass in a big way! I love you and I am thankful.

What a nightmare...
So my sleep has been less that stellar in the last few days because school is coming into finals (next week) and the bringing one quarter to close and preparing for the next will only be one week. Yeah for me. *insert sarcasm here* Anyways, I have been using the fitbit thingy and it tells me that I was in bed 11 hours but only slept 9 1/2 hrs... ( Read more... ) -
GF/DF Seafood Chowder
Used what I had on hand in the house and made some seafood chowder the other day. It ended up being extremely tasty and served our family of 6 for two meals! I tried my best to keep track of what and how much went into the pot but keep in mind that I keep tweaking as I cook until it tastes right... so feel free to make adjustments of your own.

Sensory Processing Disorder PSA
My son was diagnosed with SPD just before he turned 3 year old; it was discovered while receiving services for speech and language delay after multiple ear infections from age 1 1/2 - 2. OK, so school is out soon and I am going to have to keep dragonzzilla busy busy this summer or he'll rot his brain on video games. Maybe I need a darkside icon for sushi?!
OK, so most folks know that my kid has "advanced tastes" compared to most kids his age. Yeah... he prefers the finer cuts of beef, Ahi and Mahi Mahi, lobster, fondue, basically food that tends to be at the higher end of the scale for cost. He also adores sushi!
