OK, so most folks know that my kid has "advanced tastes" compared to most kids his age. Yeah... he prefers the finer cuts of beef, Ahi and Mahi Mahi, lobster, fondue, basically food that tends to be at the higher end of the scale for cost. He also adores sushi!
All of my lovely veggie/organic/import food loving friends have been fostering
dragonzzilla 's pencheon for sushi the last few months. Now it's developed into a full blown addiction! The kid is unstoppable!
Yeah... check out that pile of plates! That was all him! I only had 4 plates to my credit. $38 bucks later.. my gods!
I guess I can't complain though. At least he like food that I enjoy and I don't have to worry about only eating at places that serve chicken fingers!
Have I mentioned how much we're love'n Sushi Revolution?! If anyone can find a cheaper place offering the same variety I am game to try it; until then I have found our new hang-out! DJ just loves the weird icecreams.. today he did Red Bean. My favorite "roll" this is the one that's crispy on the outside (sounds like oo-knee but I can't spell the darn thing... *snicker*)!
So aside from Sushi Revolution we also had our Squadron X-Mas party*, finished up some Yule shopping**, and Jamie had her monthly military Bingo***. It was a FULL day to say the least but at least it was satisfying!

* The party went well, picked up our cookbooks, food was wonderful, and learned that if you give a Cav soldier enough time and money he can do practically ANYTHING to make a Stetson look festive; including hard wiring the thing with electricity!
** Found some small gifts for DJ, also picked up gifts for
nighteyes_70 and son, acquired new girlie skull-like toe socks, found a fabu purple shirt for under my purple corset, and picked out some new tunes for Jim! I also invested in Proactive... I am SICK and tied of this adult achne crap and nothing the post docs have done has helped... so I am trying it for 2 months, if it works I am happy, if it doesn't I am only out the initial cost. Much cheaper than going to an off post derm doc and paying out-of-pocket.
*** Bingo was small and quick tonight but I still scored some chocolate covered cherries and champagne! We also corrupted another husband into our Bingo world! *snicker*
