My gum surgery was astoundingly easy. It happened over 24 hours ago, and I haven't been in any pain. I got a prescription for Vicodin, but I haven't taken any, because ibuprofen has been sufficient to prevent soreness. ( details -- nothing gross )

For the past week, I've been actually editing: revising, adding, deleting, and so on. I'm feeling good about how the second draft is coming along so far, and the process is moving pretty smoothly overall.
