I've been meaning to post an update for two weeks, and I keep not getting around to it, which means I keep having more to say. So, your waiting (which I just know you've been doing, with bated breath) is rewarded with a plethora of thrilling (fascinating? mildly entertaining? not entirely dull?) ( notes and photos. )

Bike: I bought a bike! I walked to Calmar Cycles (a mile from my house), found the service friendly and the selection sufficient, and rode home on a new bike.
