I called my fiance today on Skype and he said, "Honey, I ship us."

I giggled like a fool for about 20 minutes. When I could breathe again he said, "You ship us too" and then I realized that we're a canon ship! That makes more more happy than it should. *fangirl squee*

The Olympics have started in Vancouver and I'm feeling a bit homesick. I wish I could be there and celebrate with my country in this historic moment. There's always youtube but it's just not the same. I love where I am and what I'm doing but this is something that doesn't happen all too often and I wish I could be there to celebrate too.

I took my fiance to the airport this morning and I bawled my face off in doing so. He's been gone for not even 12 hours and I already miss him like crazy. It's -46 degrees Celsius in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada today, not including the windchill. (That's -50.8 Fahrenheit to all of you non-metric people.)
