rakugo ikou
Today I went to Rakugo with my friend, Miho Kobyashi. Rakugo is traditional Japanese comedy. One man will act out different stories using only his voice, a fan, and a handkerchief which are used to creat different characters for his story. Shinto Shrine Dance
Yesterday, there was a festival celebrating the fall season in Japan. My host sister, Eri, dances for the Shinto Shrine in Shikaoi as a kind of priestess. I got to watch her dance at the ceremony, welcoming the fall season. She did a beautiful job and I invite you all to watch it. :)
