I'm happy to say that I'm starting 2010 off by accepting my boyfriend's marriage proposal.
At 12:30 am in Shikaoi, Hokkaido, Japan at the town's Shinto Shrine, my boyfriend got down on one knee, took my hand and said "how would would like to be my wife? Will you marry me?"
I said yes and he took off my mitten and slid the ring on my finger.
I can't stop smiling; I'm absolutely elated.
