I... am amazed. This was... wow... I don't know what to say other than I love it and that I can't believe this was the last part.

I'm going to go cry now...

I've read this again, because I love it that much. And I'm now prepared to reply with a better review than before (because earlier I was blinded by how awesome this was). This review turned out to be five pages long and is probably the longest review I have ever written. I've had to cut it into different parts.

First of all, let me say that I love how you go from the present to the past and back again. It was an excellent way to handle the story.

Optimus had a flitting thought that maybe it would’ve been better if they had died.

This is heartbreaking because it's so true. It would have been better if they had died; I hate myself for thinking that and Optimus probably hate himself too.

“These mechs are more than just comrades. They are our friends, and I refuse to give up on them now that we got them back.”

Taking care of them is going to be so hard and as much as they say now that they won't give up, I wonder how they will feels years from now. Will they have lost all hope by then? Be so tired of being responsible for the care of ( ... )

I'm really glad you liked the story. Long reviews deserve long replies. I hope you don't mind. =D

I wonder how they will feels years from now. Will they have lost all hope by then? Be so tired of being responsible for the care of those that will never heal?

Maybe they could find a little asylum for them? Prowl and Mirage and Bumblebee are some that I think will never really lose the hope of them getting better. Which is sad cause they'll be spending the rest of their lives waiting for something that won't happen. Ratchet is more of a realist, but something tells me he wouldn't stop trying to find a way to fix them.

Great, now I want to write a oneshot with Mirage and Prowl taking care of Jazz and Hound after years of having rescued them. *dies*

Was there a reason Perceptor wasn't mentioned here?

The only reason I can find is that I'm an idiot that needs to keep better track of the characters I'm using. Please forgive me? *puppy eyes*

Does Jazz realize he's not human anymore? He seems too out of it to notice, I think, so it ( ... )

Nope, I don't mind. I love long replies.

It's very sad. They'll just keep hoping and hoping and hoping and no one would have the heart to tell them that there is no hope.

And yes, Ratchet would never stop trying.

Great, now I want to write a oneshot with Mirage and Prowl taking care of Jazz and Hound after years of having rescued them. *dies*

Don't die! *calls Ratchet* You need to write that one-shot! And... maybe with an appearance by Perceptor and whoever is taking care of him? *hopes*

I just watched the movie again. I'll be writing that one pretty soon. I'll even add Perceptor and his caretaker. *grins*

*cuddles Perceptor plushie* Thank you!

You're welcome! ^___^

Yeah; that be, what? About a 30+ chaptered fic?

Something like that. Oh God, just thinking about starting a monster that long gives me nightmares.

You should turn that into a little one-shot.

Working on it. Once I feel better, I'll tweak it a little bit and post it.

I wonder... those that die is Silent Hill... they're trapped there, aren't they?

I'm not really sure. But in this story they are.

Hoist and Grapple had picked it up when they cleaned the base. They usually held on such objects for a few days before throwing them away.

So, they're like the janitors? That's... a cute image.

Sideswipe giggled. - “He’s so tiny now. Are we home again?”

So the size of the doll is what made them realize they were really home? So, in a sense, it was Sunstreaker that showed them that they were safe. Sunstreaker that showed Sideswipe that it was safe. It's like he's still looking out for his brother as best he can.

The slightly musical undertones that marked the Porsche’s voice could not be heard anymore.

It's sad that Jazz lost his music to such an extent that his own voice changed.

“You don’t need to know how to play. She will teach you her song.”

Like I said, I haven't seen Silent Hill (I don't have the nerve), so I don't know the significance of the violin or the song or why Perceptor would be the one chosen to learn it. It seems rather important, and I wonder why.

Don't know where I got the idea. I'm blaming the medicine for it. ;D

The size of the doll was solid proof for Sideswipe that they were home. So yeah, even after death he's still looking out for his brother.

Huh. I just assumed the bunny was inspired by something that actually happened in the movie/game.

I wish we had seen more of the puzzles. It'd be interesting to see, whenever he momentarily stopped playing, if he wrote the puzzles out and tried to solve them. I wonder what their friends would think of that. *thinks* I can see Wheeljack trying to help him solve it...

*shoots bunny* Nooo! No more ideas! *hides*

I'm sorry! I can't help it!

Red Alert does mention the doll is clean. You're right about why Sideswipe sees blood on it.

*hugs Sideswipe* Poor baby...

Yes, it's all Hound's fault. Sad part is that he doesn't feel sorry for it.

I wonder what Mirage would think if he ever learned this.

I thought that being human ( ... )

Haven't played the games, so maybe there's something there.

You're an evil, evil woman. ;D

I wonder what Mirage would think if he ever learned this.

Puts bunny in the same cage as the bunny of Mirage and Prowl's POV as caretakers.

As you wish! *hands over dark chocolate* ^__^

“She gives us dreams to know more of us. She’s just curious.”

The dreams... that's why they weren't sure they were really home. I hadn't realized 'til just now.

Without a word, he just ran outside into the fog… While the Other side of Silent Hill was active.

Has Beachcomber become part of Silent Hill now? Can he ever leave or is he as good as dead?

They sometimes thought they saw him walking around the town only to find nothing but strange words and puzzles that seemed addressed to Perceptor. But Perceptor was unable to answer the puzzles...

I wonder if Perceptor will ever be able to solve the puzzles. I wonder, if he does manage to solve them, it will end the curse of Silent Hill, freeing all those who are trapped there. And I wonder why they were addressed to Perceptor.

“Wherever they went, it changed them enough to prevent one from dying. Whatever that was, it may be connected to the mysterious glitch they all came with. They never thought to tell anyone they had been human, have they? Even Sideswipe's comments about ( ... )

He did become part of Silent Hill. The others left him for dead, but he just disappeared.

You know, people need to write more about Beachcomber. It isn't right that I actually got a muse with his name screaming "Write what happens to me in Silent Hill after I ran and disappeared!"

Alessa chose Perceptor and Beachcomber thought it would free them and get them home. Neither the games nor the movie are known for having good endings. The games had multiple endings that ranged from depressing to downright horrible, if what I read was right.

What you need to do, is turn this fic into a series. *hopes*

Alessa chose Perceptor and Beachcomber thought it would free them and get them home.

And instead, it was Wheeljack that managed to free them. Alessa didn't want them there but I wonder how Silent Hill itself feels about having it's prey stolen from it. Just how much control does Alessa have over her world?

Nope, they haven't told anyone. And even if they did, would they believe them or think it was part of the damage in their CPUs?

They'd probably believe it was the CPU damage, yes. After all, the supernatural doesn't actually exist, right?

Yeah, there's no way they'd believe them.

I think if they hadn't become humans they wouldn't had suffered mental damage in the first place. Silent Hill is horrible, but they are bigger than the monsters and have built-in firepower and wheels ( ... )

Something tells me it's going to end a series. *whimpers*

Alessa didn't want them there but I wonder how Silent Hill itself feels about having it's prey stolen from it. Just how much control does Alessa have over her world?

I don't think Silent Hill will be too happy. Alessa has complete control of what happens in Silent Hill, or at least in the movie she does.

*sequel bunnies got reinforcements*

Like I said: Series!

God, I'm doomed, aren't I?

I was assuming Alessa sent it to him, hoping to keep him at least mildly connected to Silent Hill in hopes he'd solve the puzzles. Or that Silent Hill itself sent it to him in an attempt to gain a foothold in Perceptor's world. But if the violin was made by Wheeljack, and Perceptor playing it still brings a chill... I wonder if Perceptor has a little of Silent Hill's magic within him.The violin might have been given by Wheeljack, but the song was sent by Alessa. I'm going with Perceptor has a little of Silent Hill's magic with ( ... )

I'm really glad you liked it. I don't know if you know, but your bunny has spread to two more fics: Silent Hill: Search for Home and Shattered Dreams. The first one is what happened to Beachcomber after he ran away and the second is set in the future. And there are two other fics planned (one with Hound and another with Wheeljack) Silent Hill owns my soul now.

About Beachcomber, I can tell you that he knew about Alessa because she wanted it that way. They're all slowly becoming a part of Silent Hill and he'll be trapped there forever, like Bluestreak and Sunstreaker. The only ones that could escape her are the ones that went back to their world. Except one of them About Beachcomber meeting others from the series, I mentioned James in the fic I wrote of him, but since I've never played the games, I don't have the courage to write an actual meeting.

Doppelganger bunnies!! Must... resist... Or what if the 'survivors' were the doppelgangers? *hides from Silent Hill bunnies*
