I wonder how they will feels years from now. Will they have lost all hope by then? Be so tired of being responsible for the care of those that will never heal?
Maybe they could find a little asylum for them? Prowl and Mirage and Bumblebee are some that I think will never really lose the hope of them getting better. Which is sad cause they'll be spending the rest of their lives waiting for something that won't happen. Ratchet is more of a realist, but something tells me he wouldn't stop trying to find a way to fix them.
Great, now I want to write a oneshot with Mirage and Prowl taking care of Jazz and Hound after years of having rescued them. *dies*
Was there a reason Perceptor wasn't mentioned here?
The only reason I can find is that I'm an idiot that needs to keep better track of the characters I'm using. Please forgive me? *puppy eyes*
Does Jazz realize he's not human anymore? He seems too out of it to notice, I think, so it seems to me his light and sound show is activating as an instinctive response to his need to defend himself from what he sees as a threat. I love that Red Alert has some medical skills here.
You weren't reading too much into it. I did it on purpose. The light and sound show were instinctive. He just woke up in a hospital to find First Aid hovering and, after his experience with the Silent Hill hospital, he just attacked.
And Red Alert deserves to show off his skills from time to time. All everyone remembers is his glitch.
I cried when I read this. Read this the second time, I mean, because the first time I didn't know... I'm glad they had this moment. A bittersweet memory, like a faded photograph recovered from the remains of a destroyed home.
Sorry for making you cry. *hands her a Perceptor plushie* Here! To cheer you up. ^__^
Has Silent Hill shown them visions of home? I've never seen the movie or played the video game so I don't know if it can show them anything other than Silent Hill itself.
I never really played the games and the movie didn't show them visions of anything outside of Silent Hill. I did search for information and it said that Silent Hill is a place where Alessa (powerful psychic kid behind the evil in the town) plays with the subconscious of the characters while being tormented by her own past. That's mostly done in the appearance of the monsters and the town, but delving into all the hidden things eight characters (that are several million years old) have in their minds and changing the town/monsters accordingly is something more epic than I can do at the moment. So, I settled for giving them dreams so real they think they are home and where Alessa can mess with their minds individually.
Sideswipe, I believe, is the most heartbreaking to see, but who would be the most shocking? Hound, I think; but I'm not sure.
I know I shouldn't like him so much, but violent Hound is my favorite. He had his own flashback in the story, but I had to take it out because it was turning into a story of its own.
This, more than the monsters, is what started them on the road to insanity, I think. Not that I don't think the monsters and the struggle for survival played a large part, they played the largest part, but I think these half-seen images opened the doors, so to speak.
That's the beauty of Silent Hill. I interviewed my brother on what he found so scary when he played it. He said that the things that appeared out of nowhere and the sounds of things that weren't there.
Bluestreak's death... I can't help but think he gave up too quickly. But considering his past, his fears, and the fact that Silent Hill would influence those fears and force them to the front of his mind... It's understandable, what he did. He just wasn't strong enough to fight it.
I wasn't planning on killing him so fast. It was supposed to be his realization that they were trapped and then another flashback some time later where he'd give up. Next thing I know, he's giving up right there and then and I'm killing him.

Nope, I don't mind. I love long replies.

It's very sad. They'll just keep hoping and hoping and hoping and no one would have the heart to tell them that there is no hope.
And yes, Ratchet would never stop trying.

Don't die! *calls Ratchet* You need to write that one-shot! And... maybe with an appearance by Perceptor and whoever is taking care of him? *hopes*

You're forgiven.

If I were him, I'd attack too. I'd be screaming and panicking the whole time, but I'd still attack!

Sometimes I wonder if he exaggerates his glitch. I saw a fic like that recently. Yesterday, I think. Or this morning.
Though it is kind of fun seeing him actually glitch so often. But yes, he really does need a chance to show off.

*cuddles Perceptor plushie* Thank you!

Yeah; that be, what? About a 30+ chaptered fic?

Good idea.

You should turn that into a little one-shot.
That's the beauty of Silent Hill. I interviewed my brother on what he found so scary when he played it. He said that the things that appeared out of nowhere and the sounds of things that weren't there.
That would terrify me.

Characters do that, sometimes. Take over. Bluestreak obviously wanted nothing more to do with Silent Hill and so made you write him out.
I wonder... those that die is Silent Hill... they're trapped there, aren't they?

I just watched the movie again. I'll be writing that one pretty soon. I'll even add Perceptor and his caretaker. *grins*
*cuddles Perceptor plushie* Thank you!
You're welcome! ^___^

Something like that. Oh God, just thinking about starting a monster that long gives me nightmares.

Working on it. Once I feel better, I'll tweak it a little bit and post it.

I'm not really sure. But in this story they are.

I never like starting super long fics either, though I've got a lot of ideas for a few. I'm always afraid it'll just sit there, forever unfinished. Five chapters, I think, is the most I can handle. That might change though, if I find a plot that can keep my interest for that long.

I hope you feel better soon *calls First Aid*

That's so heartbreaking. Especially with Bluestreak. Forever, trapped in his worst nightmare...

And here it is! Only Prowl for now, but the others are coming soon.
