I had a wonderful christmas eve. I woke up on the east coast at 6am and boarded my plane, slept most of the way here and landed on the west coast at 10AM. As I spend more time with my dad I realize that the grandparents I knew where not the parents he knew and I now understand him even more. It's interesting when you think about it. I leave tomorrow to go to NY for 12 days. I'll be missing Valentine's Day with Ryan this year. But we've come up with a better plan, we've moved our V-day to the 17th, because almost anywhere you try to go they boost the prices and give limited menu on that "special" day and it's the SAME food, so what's the point, so I've moved V-day to the 17th. Thanksgiving was a little different. Dad and I were assigned to make garlic mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. That's right. It's upon us again. Happy Thanksgiving. This year I'm spending my holiday in NY with my dad and we are going over to a friends house for dinner. However, I do wish I felt better. It seems I have caught Ryan's cold just before we are suppose to leave. So I feel a little under the weather and now I have to get on a plane.
