And it snows and snows and oh yea snows.

The rest of the trip has been very low key. Dad and i have chatted about various things and I went out shopping with Sandy on Tuesday. Dad worked from home on Wednesday and then went to Chicago on Thursday and then we both went into the city on Friday. I was trying to planning a surprise party for my dad in the city on Friday but the weather got so bad that it was canceled, I told him about it on the train home. He said he was glad a tried and sorry it didn't work out. We went to our favorite little tapas place for dinner and they had a limited menu and then gave us drinks on the house. We just thought it was nice that they served us anything. The Croton on Hudson area got around 8 inches of snow and when we got off the train dad had to unbury the car. Quite a site I must tell you. We then slowly made our way to the tapas place, a few slips and skids but we made it and then made it home. Someone had cleared us a a path to the door, which was nice (we aren't sure who yet) and then we talked till about midnight and then both went to bed. I checked us both in online this morning. However with more snow coming we aren't sure if we are making it out of here or not. We have to catch a 3:30 car to get to the airport by 5 and then through security and then board at 5:55 for our 6:30 flight. This is all in the AM. We are praying that we actually get to take off. Then we will be in FL for 3 days, mainly hanging out with my grams or in St Auggie. And on the 24th we take off for Las Vegas. We will spend Christmas Eve at the Alleys and then I will probably go to Ryan's, not sure yet. New Years Eve is all planned out we got tickets to have an all access pass to the Palms clubs for dad, Ryan and me. And dinner reservations at Smith and wollensky's and a hotel room at the Mirage. So that should be fun. I want to try and see the neon graveyard and dad wants to possibly do a Grand Canyon tour. However that is not booked yet. We are just hoping to get out of NY at the moment.
And that's your update. I have to go pack, make sure we have gifts for the neighbors and then make sure everything is in order at the house.

later!
