YAY!
I leave tomorrow to go to NY for 12 days. I'll be missing Valentine's Day with Ryan this year. But we've come up with a better plan, we've moved our V-day to the 17th, because almost anywhere you try to go they boost the prices and give limited menu on that "special" day and it's the SAME food, so what's the point, so I've moved V-day to the 17th. What's so special about the 14th? It was going to cost me over 600 dollars to get home on the 13th, what a jip. So I'll be spending Valentine's day with my daddy. Wow, does that sound wrong...haha. So it's in the 50's here and the 20's there, so do you know what that means...LAUREN is going to FREEZE!! Oh yea. Though I will get to see snow, so I'm excited to freeze! I
I have been doing a lot with my store, trying to advertise and chat with a lot of the other members, trying to be more active so that I can get some sales. I have also been working on making some more jewelry and also jewelry holders for the site as well. I've made two treasuries, but they are already over. And I was featured in a few, which is a cool feeling.
I've been trying new dishes with Ryan. We made some really good microwave meals, we are going through theme and finding the best ones this week. It's always nice to know what "quick" meals are good and which aren't. So far we've had some really great sausage ravioli and Italian beef, and it only took 4 minutes. Ryan also makes skillet Chicken which he is perfecting the spices on. And we made about 9 slider sized seasoned hamburgers. We had different seasoning in each slider to see what made the best taste.
We've also been hitting the Wii Fit and the Xbox. I'm apparently underweight, but I rock the hula hoop. Hah. I am getting better at Xbox golfing. I still can't believe that you have to get a whole another component to make the xbox "live" and that the component is another 100 dollars, when the Wii, it wireless all by itself and costs less to start with. That is definitely a frustration of mine. And here I was all excited about being about to get Netflix and play against people on the Xbox...Maybe in time I'll find the 100 and pay for the adapter.
I went to the casino with Ryan and the Alleys last night and for the first time ever the Poker Spin machines were finally being nice. So I won a little. That's always nice to say. Sadly Avis, likes to play for so long we end up losing most of what we made because we were bored. Oh well.
Well I'm off to pack, put up a vacation sign on Etsy and relax with Ryan for my last day here.
