I've had a chance to start sorting through things in the basement. Thanks to the flood, the ordered chaos they I had established down here all got jumbled back together, so it's slow going, but I'm starting to make sense of it again. I've got a pile of stuff for goodwill in one corner, all my really important writing stuff in bins in another ( Read more... )

So I spent the better part of today clearing out the flooded area so that the guys can get to it (because repair is men's work, dontcha know), and assessing the damage to our personal effects.
