Today is the last day of the kids' two week long spring break. It has been fun and busy and nice to not have to worry about bed time quite so much, though all three kids are napping now because we've gone a little overboard on the late bedtimes, and they haven't been sleeping in as much as a parent might wish. The weather was so gorgeous this morning--bright sunshine but not too hot. I decided to take the kids to Avery park. It's a long walk, but the novelty appealed to Raine, so we got off to a relatively painless early start. Avery park also has a nice variety of things to do. My in-laws just left, maxeulien isn't home yet and the kids are both asleep (a rare occurence even with one of them sleeping on my lap) I'm just not sure what to do with myself. I've lived in the northwest before, but Seattle is not at all like this. Life has been chugging along at a remarkable clip. Living with olstad is lots of fun, but it also means we have a social life, something we didn't have much of in Maine, and generally have something going on every weekend.
