I spent a very enjoyable morning up in the National Gallery in London going around the Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light exhibition despite the fact I travelled there mostly in the rain. It was a lovely exhibition - Sorolla certainly knew how to paint the wonderful bright light of Spain. He is famous for several paintings of children on the beach ( Read more... )

I have been reading, but haven't had a chance to update my own journal for a few days. It's been so busy with rehearsals and trying to choreograph my own solo which is always harder than I think it will be. Mr Cee is showing symptoms of my virus mixed with his usual hayfever at this time of year. As a result he has gone quite deaf in his left ear, so as my voice has not recovered very much today we are mostly conversing using gestures. What band or musician is most important to you.Well, along with almost all the entries I've seen for this prompt I am going to say I don't have a specific band or musician that I listen to.  I have very ecclectic taste and I'm enjoying having Amazon Prime music so I can listen to playlists by genre without buying the music.  I like jazz, blues, pop ( Read more... )
