Day 6
What band or musician is most important to you.
Well, along with almost all the entries I've seen for this prompt I am going to say I don't have a specific band or musician that I listen to. I have very ecclectic taste and I'm enjoying having Amazon Prime music so I can listen to playlists by genre without buying the music. I like jazz, blues, pop, funk, musical theatre, soundtracks, country, western and indy. I don't like classical music (as in Mahler or Beethoven), punk, hard rock or rap, but there are always exceptions to that rule. I have a huge amount of music - we buy on CD and upload as I get twitchy about not having the originals to pass on to the kids once we go, so I rarely download anything, but having said that I'm sure they will never 'own' music and will stream it in the future (who knows!). In fact we are already living in the future as far as I'm concerned as I was brought up listening to the 'wireless' and vinyl records.
The only thing I would say is that it's a shame we no longer have Top of the Pops on our TVs in the UK as half the time I like a song and I have literally no idea what the artist(s) look like! I used to know who everyone looked like when that was on TV.
So that's a pretty much non-answer. Sorry! :)
In other news Mr Cee and I were sitting having coffee first thing this morning thinking it would be a weekend without anyone wanting to see our house as the agent hadn't been in touch, and lo and behold we get a viewing booked for this afternoon and another one tomorrow. This afternoon's couple have just left. They looked around the house in just over 10 minutes, didn't want to go into the garden and didn't ask any questions. They either loved it or hated it..... I'm sure we'll find out at some point LOL!
Tomorrow's viewer was supposed to come and see the house back when it was first on the market at the end of January, and booked in and then cancelled their slot the day before. I expect they have been looking at quite a lot of houses since then, so that could be interesting.
This evening we are going to our neighbours for dinner, wine and much hilarity playing silly card games. Should be fun!
