My mom was in town this weekend and we took her to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens. While we were there we went to their Butterfly Garden exhibit too, it was amazing because dozens of butterflies are swooping past you, brushing against you, and landing everywhere! I am taking a break from homework to make a long overdue post and then have some lunch. I have been quite busy for the past couple of weeks mainly because my cousin was in town and then because of homework. All the vegan (and not so vegan) blogs I've been reading keep making yummy breads. I decided to try a foccacia but then realized that Josh really likes the bread from Macaroni Grill (which is a sort of foccacia loaf). Despite flight anxiety, cramped busses, and crazy drivers I made it home safely. I'm still very tired and trying to kick the jetlag. This will be my complete Scotland post (our first week in the UK) and I'll make an England post sometime this week.

We arrived to Glasgow on Sunday (after an uneventful flight with little anxiety) and immediately caught the bus to the Isle of Skye (a roughly 6 hour drive).
