I am taking a break from homework to make a long overdue post and then have some lunch. I have been quite busy for the past couple of weeks mainly because my cousin was in town and then because of homework. Josh and I didn't even have much time together, but we got to go see a play yesterday which we both enjoyed.
We took my cousin to
Rawhide one of the evenings he was here. Rawhide has been in the Valley since I was a kid. It's basically an old west themed village. We had a stagecoach ride, a mini train ride, panned for gold (pieces of spray painted rocks!), watched a shoot-out, enjoyed a gun trick show, and were amazed by card tricks at a black jack table. Most of the activities were geared towards kids, but it was still a lot of fun!

We also headed to Sedona for a day. We went to
Slide Rock which is toted as natures water park. There is a creek that has about 3 areas which are natural water slides. I only put my toes in because the water was literally freezing, and the rocks were all slippery with algae, so I wasn't very adventurous. My cousin was, and he was the only one out the 6 of us to go for the slides.
