First things first: Dante will have his hind leg amputated tomorrow morning in the 10-o'clock hour. Since the sarcoma is so high up the leg, the vet isn't sure that they'll be able to get all of the cancer. I'm hopeful but realistic. The vet called Fred today and confirmed that the mass on Dante's hind leg is a sarcoma. Fred will take Dante in tomorrow for an evaluation, and to make a plan of action ( Read more... )

Dante is not a well kitty. After returning from Ohio last week, Fred noticed Dante had a nasty looking red spot on his leg. Today, when the spot didn't seem to be improving, Fred took our kitty to the emergency clinic in Eden Prairie ( Read more... )

It's been a while since I've written. Probably the biggest news is that Fred and I have been busy in the last couple of weeks looking for houses in Minneapolis.
