last night was our Chanukah party. I got to see Zivvy for the first time since this summer, made curried sweet potato latkes which turned out fabulously, and drank a big ol' shillelagh (Baileys and whiskey) that Lynda mixed. when the light turns red while you're in the middle of the intersection, the appropriate action is to proceed through the intersection, not to stop dead. 'specially when there's someone waiting behind you to turn as well.
