dear li'l old lady on jewell:
when the light turns red while you're in the middle of the intersection, the appropriate action is to proceed through the intersection, not to stop dead. 'specially when there's someone waiting behind you to turn as well.

dear crazy guy on kipling:
that was a red light you turned left on. a not-just-turned red light usually means "don't go, even if the way is clear." but, i mean, maybe that only applies to sane persons.

kthxbye,
me.

federal marriage amendment DEFEATED.
praise be to someone. and <333333333333 to ken salazar.

created the newest flavor of coke today: diet with raspberry iced tea. try it; it's actually really yummy.

nancy's memorial is tomorrow. we're scrambling around all day today to prepare -- lunch afterwards is at ours. mom was ready to condemn the cats to eternal hellfire for knocking over the unglued photo collage she'd spent an hour on. Gollum was locked in the basement and didn't get any breakfast til I came home at lunchtime to drop off food.

back to work now.
