HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY 2 SEAT!!!! sorry I missed it. love you. we're going to have so many adventures back at school now that we're Of Age.
nancy's memorial was deeply touching and meaningful. she was such a LOVING person and touched everyone she interacted with. that came through in every speech. lots of tears were shed.
my first daughter's middle name will be the same as Nancy's: Joy.
would it be ungood, though, because my Hebrew name has the same meaning?
in the evening I went over to clay's. we went on a date since we were both dressed up, and had Indian food, most of which I didn't eat for lack of appetite. grossout moment of the night was when I thought he had some rice on his shirt, went to pick it off, and it was SNOT. we decided we'd passed beyond "old married couple" at that point.
then we went back to his and watched Breakfast on Pluto, and liked it. and cillian murphy is just a gender-bending sort of pretty. at the end I got all teary-eyed remembering Bus Atha Cliath, Ash, Steph, Diarmaid, Laure, Peter...
Clay said to me, "You just love too much!"
And I said, "so did Nancy."
randomly: I miss skiing.
I'm so tired I can't concentrate even with my focuspills. and I'm making typos I don't catch, too. this is no good. must have nap!
this evening, the plan is to leave work at 5:30, head to the gym across the street, go to a cardio salsa class, and then catch Prairie Home Companion (on opening day, yay!) with Clay and Emma (who's back in town, yay!)
the latest project i'm doing at work is teeeedious. I have to find names and addresses for people in six different government positions for 27 cities/counties. usually every place's site will have all the information I need easily findable, except ONE. and it's off-pissing, I tell you.
