Just returned home from spending 2 weeks with our granddaughter Genevieve -- ( the cutest 1 year old on the face of the planet! )

We are back again in Gainesville. We had a very nice trip to Tallahassee. Arrived there Wednesday and went to dinner at an old-timey seafood restaurant on the coast. We are down here in sunny Tallahassee for my cousin's daughter's wedding. We flew down last Thursday, and the only bad weather on the USA map was a nasty looking storm in New Orleans. We arrived safely in Portland late last night, tired and jet lagged. We brought our Garmin with us, and the directions it gave matched Google perfectly. Dinner last night was at the Shed, which turned out to be a pretty good place. The menu had something for everyone. We ordered a "ski sampler", which was 6 4-oz. glasses of beer served on a ski. Perfect for sharing among 3 people ( Read more... )
