We are down here in sunny Tallahassee for my cousin's daughter's wedding. We flew down last Thursday, and the only bad weather on the USA map was a nasty looking storm in New Orleans. It's warmer today, so hopefully our front walk will melt, and not get dripped on enough to make a new skating rink tonight.

Today in church I played a ( Bach 2-part invention. )

Today was 4 inches of snow and freezing rain, so Michael and I both stayed home from work.  About 10 AM Michael felt cold, so he went downstairs to check, and sure enough the furnace was off again.  He jiggled it and it came back on, but we decide to call the gas company again.  By the time the guy got here, the furnace had gone off again.  The guy ( Read more... )

Michael came to bed early last night because he was cold, which never happens.  (He is usually a human furnace.)  This morning we woke up at 5 AM because it was 40 degrees inside the house.  So Michael went downstairs to check the furnace.  When he opened the little door of the furnace, foom!  It went on.  However, we figured that the heat must ( Read more... )

We went to see Avenue Q today.  It is like Sesame Street for adults.  We enjoyed it, and it was interesting to see how the actors sang and handled the puppets.  I walked in from the parking lot, and we sat in our regular seats.  The sidewalks are very cracked and uneven, so walking on them was difficult, but I made it.  I guess I am getting better ( Read more... )
