I visited my friend out in Pittsburgh over the weekend (Hi, Morgan!), and even though I wouldn't exactly say it's a destination city, the six/seven hour drive from New York to get there is gorgeous. My sister goes to college in upstate New York, and in between dropping her off on campus each year, I've also taken advantage of the opportunity to see more of the region, in particular the Finger Lakes.
