All I have to say about Santorini is that it doesn't need a single filter.
Seriously. It was that beautiful. Most tourists, unless they're honeymooners, stay there for a day or two, since it's one of many stops on a Mediterranean cruise, but I'm glad my family and I only had the time (and money) for just this island. We were fortunate to book an affordable apartment-style lodging, and we had this amazing balcony overlooking the caldera. To be honest, that was one of my favorite parts of Santorini: That you could just sit, enjoy the peaceful, beautiful view, and watch how the light changes in the course of the day. That kind of clear light is hard to find, or at least appreciate, when you're in the middle of a busy city.
There are quite a few striking church towers on the island, but this was one of my favorites.
The capital of Fira. You can partially see the windy path that leads down to the port (and where the famous donkeys take tourists up and down).

At times it seemed you can step off into the sea!
I loved the architecture and colorful designs on the island. This is the Catholic Cathedral where we went to mass.
