     Spent the day making hay, or at least trying to...

     I spent about five-and-a-half hours on the back of the old Deutz tractor this afternoon, cutting hay...  I have come to the decision that I really do not like hay-bines, and that a self-propelled swather (aka windrower) is a much nicer machine for this task!  The thing is that the haybine gets pulled behind the tractor, and off to the (right) ( Read more... )

     Poor trixstir ; This baby is nearly a week overdue, and despite several false-alarms, there's still nothing really happening.  All we can really do is sit and wait, and hope that the kid finally decides to make an entry into the world.  Unless the baby arrives in the next 24 hours (or least starts to arrive) we have an appointment to see the doctor on ( Read more... )
