Trixstir and I went to Swift Current this afternoon for a checkup on the progress of the baby, and to see how close she is to delivering. I made a little headway at the shop today; no real progress on getting the tool I need, but with offers from friends I may have a work-around (thanks guys!) We're actually only about 50km from the US border, and I've thought of getting a PO box on the US side for just this sort of reason. Might be something to take a closer look at.

     The Kidling was supposed to come home with me after work yesterday to help bring in the last of the hay from the West field, but he buggered off with his friends before Trixstir could stop him.  Unfortunately, short of fitting him with a shock-collar, there's not a lot she can do to stop him if he decides he's going to take off.  His reasoning ( Read more... )
