This is the first morning I've had a chance to look at the pictures in my camera from the last few days. Talking to Kathy on the phone today about my woes with the underwater camera and the other camera that I then had hopes in using for outdoor walks - the full spectrum (which doesn't always focus properly) and she asked if I had my old Lumix ZS8 still. Dave's new truck (2023 Tacoma) arrived and we picked it up on Friday. That took up a lot of our day to drive up to Meadville and wait around while papers were signed and then we went on little joy rides in it to get to know its features. The most modern car we had before was my Brownie car (2011) and there have been lots of advances since then. ( Read more... )

Yesterday Jan and I hiked the Clarion Loop Trail - part of the North Country Trail. Three miles - most of it was very steep with lots of big rocks to climb over or down off of. The deep woods and the big trees were quite beautiful. I'd do it again. Maybe the next time it'll be easier. I don't usually use my legs to that extent and I might have ( Read more... )
