So I've been reading the massive influx of fanfic coming out of the HIMYM fandom after "Benefits." And there's this thread that bothers me, whether it's the author injecting it out right or (and I think this is the worse of the two) the author using Ted or Lily or even Marshall to say it ( Read more... )

... but HIMYM S4 E12: Benefits is chockful of Barney/Robin goodness. Everyone was worried about the Ted/Robin fouling everything up but it was awesome.

As was whatever I could find of the SNL with Neil Patrick Harris hosting. I totally forgot it was on so I missed it. :(

It turns out that we are in the middle of a winter storm that has given even Los Angeles a few inches. And it's not likely to go away any time soon. :( At least I managed to get out of my house (which is nothing like an igloo, I realize, since igloos are made out of snow to keep warm.)

I finished what had to be the worst week of my academic life, with a pair of midterms. Afterwards, I was free, free FREE! So I sat down to watch the Taiwanese drama Fated to Love You which is... ( which is half and half. )

The awesomeness that is Canada gets knocked down so much. They're, like, our more liberal cousin to the North. They have healthcare and that sort of thing. Seriously, it is a travesty that the United States, richest nation in the world, doesn't have some kind of minimum healthcare for everyone ( Read more... )
