Great. Just as I was reconciling myself to speaking to the people on the Internet, it turns out, for one reason or another, that my computer cannot handle the chat function. Which, you know, is only the most important part language tool on the website.

My dad swears the computer doesn't have a firewall.

I'm buried in snow, and teary-eyed because I've got a cold. Yes, because of a cold. I've never even heard of that, but my eyes keep filling with tears because my nose is irritated and my ear aches.

It turns out that we are in the middle of a winter storm that has given even Los Angeles a few inches. And it's not likely to go away any time soon. :( At least I managed to get out of my house (which is nothing like an igloo, I realize, since igloos are made out of snow to keep warm.)

It snowed about two or three inches last night and it hasn't gone away. The sun was out and everything, but it's still lying around. I was mucking through all that stuff, and it sounded incredibly crispy. Powdery. I don't know; somehow, I think you can tell if it's melting. It doesn't make as massive a sound.

There was ice in some places.

Ugh.

The appearance of "the book" is depressing me.

Fact 1: I have to use the Internet and my lj for other fandoms.
