Today was an odd day. We got a lot done, but it kind of didn’t feel like it, because we weren’t scrambling to work on the current issue as much as possible. Still, we did make good progress on other things.

I’ve heard back from all the writers about the edits, a few last decisions were made regarding some small changes, and all the content is set, formatted and combined into the main document. Kay, being the awesome person that she is, nailed down an article for Issue 12 today that we’re very excited about. 12 is shaping up to be amazing, and we’re still waiting to hear back from a few people.

The * means that it’s not done, but it’s so close it might as well be. Another hour will do it. We’re just too tired. Been a very long day; personal reasons.

Really made a ton of progress today on the editing! All the Issue 9 content is complete except 2 stories, and those are both half-finished; Kay will wrap up one of them tomorrow, and I’ll do the other. Assuming the various contributors get back to us fairly quickly, we should be able to have the Print edition finished by the end of the weekend. ( Read more... )

Not the end, obviously. There is no true end. But at least the completion of Issue 8 has appeared on the horizon.
