1/2c sugar
1/2c vinegar
1/2c catsup
1c salad oil
1t salt
1/2t pepper
1/4t dry mustard

Mix in blender with small chopped onion, store in jar in ref. with clove garlic

3/4c apricot preserves
1/4c soy sauce
1/2c mayonnaise
1t ground ginger
1/2c catsup

Wisk ingredients together until smooth. Brush on food turning frequently, during last 20 mins of cooking. Makes 1.5c.

CROCK POT!

Round bone roast
1 small onion, chopped
package brown gravy mix
1/2c water (or less)
1/4c catsup
1/4c red wine
2t dijon
1t worch. sauce
1/8t garlic powder or 1 clove garlic

sprinkle meat with s&P
combine remaining ingredients and pour over. cook low 8-10 hours.

(*ED NOTE: This is a closely guarded family recipe. NO ONE could make sauerkraut like my grandma, and she made sure of that by being very, very vague with this recipe.)

Rinse real well,
